For this week, we were assigned to create/write something involving the most important holiday celebrated in your family, and in my home, it's Halloween. And since there was an option to draw, I ended up doing so on paper (It turned out better than expected, but I feel as if it should bring more.. fear.) On camera the shading is a bit messed up, so I apologise. I should apologise for some of the random smudges on the paper that don't seem logical. You see, I am left handed and I get lead on my hands and fingers alot, but then again there is no real specific order in drawing, so if I was right handed it would probably be the same. Anyways, I hope it's good enough for a decent grade. My house has Halloween decorations up inside all year, and we enjoy it the most other than Christmas. We enjoy the paranormal and unknown.
Writing Goal: At least two hundred words, tying into other interests, but not rambling or repeating. A body is found in a mysterious place, under mysterious circumstances. Who are they? What happened to them? Is anyone responsible? What was their motive? Crime shows are probably one of the most interesting shows to view and take into mind, in my opinion. Other than shows or videos involving horror, the paranormal, and mysteries, which could potentially be involved with crime also depending on the situation. When I hear crime, my mind immediately goes to the crimes that are hard to wrap your head around. Especially when it comes to the motive of the killer's actions, what goes on in their head. What brought them to do such a thing, fed their impulses to do so, do so to strangers, or to their very loved ones, caused this raging hate, greed, mental illness, corruption, desire, addiction, outburst, or impulse to happen? That's what ...

This is a great post; I love the drawing and yes, it's good enough for a decent grade. Good work!
ReplyDeleteWow, Payten!
ReplyDeleteYour drawing is excellent. You're really talented and should share more drawings :)
For me, it is surprising that you like Hallowe'en so much. My favourite celebration is Christmas, no doubt about that, and I'm really looking forward to spending quality time with my relatives.
Best wishes and merry Christmas from Portugal,
Teacher Alex,

Hey Payten, this is Wyatt M. I really like the paranormal and unknown too. I have a ghost in my house he or she is pretty cool it only moves things around and walks around at night, do you have a ghost in your house. I think it is pretty funny that you guys have Halloween decorations up all year round, I think that is cool. You are a talented artist and should go to the art institution in Chicago. Don't worry I get smudges on my art work too. From your friend Wyatt M.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Wyatt. We don't have anything really interesting in a paranormal way at our house. But my parents used to tell me how at our old house, some freaky stuff would happen. I don't think they would really lie about the stories they told me, but then again, I was only two when we lived there, so I was too young to really remember. My mom told me I used to have a weird ability. I can't prove it anymore, but I used to apparently be able to communicate with those no longer alive, or tell adults things nobody else would have known. My mom told me that one day, I told her that she was going to die before the age of fifty of chest pains. I could not count to fifty, nor comprehend what chest pains where at that age. Thinking about it, if I really did say that, it actually seems likely. She's a smoker. I can't tell you for sure if I really did say that, but I do hope, that if I did,
Deletethat I was wrong.
